I am a very heavy user of dryers, irons and tongs.

It is part of my daily routine to use a dryer to dry up my long tresses. On days when i party, i will spend hours on my hair just to create that temporarily romantic curls..all just because i cant bear to turn my straight hair into permanent curls. I feel guilty everytime when i twril my tresses around the tongs. I look good that night. Yes! but after a while, my hair started to show signs-dry hard to manage hair, frizzy, shine-less.

i got myself this Paul Mitchell Heat Seal.

It claims that "its a multi-purpose humidity resistant styling spray. Once activated by heat, it helps maintain the style and add shine to the hair. Helps prevent damange caused by dryers, tongs etc." Sounds perfect to me! This is exactly what i want!

I thought i found the lifeguard to my dry limpy hair. I followed the instructions carefully. After showering, i sprayed it all over my towel-dry hair and comb through to spread evenly. Then i used to dryer as part of my daily routine.

2 weeks passed. I came up with a few conclusions.
*It does not help me to maintain my style. I live in a humid city. My hair feels the same. After a while, my hair becomes styleless. Perhaps because its far too humid? erm..
*i didnt notice shine on my hair. Neither did anyone complement that my hair looks healthy and shiny. The only shine i see is perhaps at the end of the day when my hair turns oily.
*it stinks.(at least to me)
*i dont feel that my damage hair has improved. Not the least bit.
*Final conclusion, this does not have any effect on me.

Since i've already spent USD11.59 on this product, i decided not to thrash it immediately. Meanwhile, its still sitting on my dressing table. Perhaps someday when i feel like it, i may reach for it again.
